Second event on the bill for 2016 in Custonaci is the second edition of "Inside and Outside the Mountain", with the high patronage of UNESCO Chair for Karst Education, which provides days of meetings, disclosure and excursions on subjects related Sciences land and Natural.
The start is scheduled Friday, May 27 with a series of activities on the ground along the trails karst Zingaro for hikers, cavers and students.
The most important change compared to last year is that there are more opportunities for the presentation of scientific works through seminars and workshops, which will delve into several practical and applied aspects of issues concerning geology, karst geomorphology, palaeontology, with particular reference to the Trapani area with fossils and rocks observation.
After the classroom meetings there will be a series of trips aimed at verification and direct field observation of what is shown.
The rich program of studies and excursions is not only aimed at geologists, biologists, paleontologists, archaeologists, naturalists and professionals involved in various capacities of studies and investigations relating to the natural environment, but also to college students, graduate students, and all those people who love the mountains and nature, who have an interest to deepen certain topics.
The invitation is also extended to the Park Authorities, Natural Reserves and Museums, the hikers associations, environmental, naturalist and caving, to propose an exhibition space for the dissemination and promotion of their activities and exhibitions of photos and posters, as well as spaces reserved the stands of books, magazines and documentation for dissemination content, scientific and naturalistic.
