Already warm up the engines during the summer, which sees this year the town of Custonaci with a rich program of events, all of which are in compliance with the enhancement of the ancient local traditions.
It begins with the Spincia Fest preview, a sort of preview to what will be the 26th edition of the culinary event for the sweet most characteristic of our table.
Traditionally spincia began as sweet poor and, in some aspects difficult to imitate, because only wise Sicilian hands can recreate. This simple pancake has become for our area, but especially for Custonaci, a typical specialty, which went before the holiday season.
Custonaci is not only the City of Marble, but also the capital of Spincia, which every year sees a growing presence of thousands of visitors.
The town of Custonaci in cooperation with the committee that deals with the development and promotion of local products has the goal of making this international event, which this year coincides with the celebration of St. Joseph the Worker on May 1.
Also this year there will be different shows, which will surround the culinary event and will once again Europe Square the location for tasting.
